B E S T   F I L M
Anomalisa A Fantastic Woman

(Sebastián Lelio)

For the second year in a row, a Chilean filmmaker made the movie I simply couldn't get out of my head. This stunning drama centres on the frankly awesome Marina Vidal (played by Daniela Vega) who, despite being at rock bottom, responds with dignity to a steady stream of misguided bigotry. It's moving, inspirational and almost terrifyingly timely.
